In the 1950's my father J.F.Wilson had Wilson riders riding in the Tour De France. When riders rode in National Teams rather than today's commercial teams. Where talent was made and brought in and not bought in. 

Ron Coe pictured here 2nd right was one rider Jim Wilson turned into a 5 times National Champion and World class road rider...Ron rode the Tour with Wilson on his National Jersey. Jim is pictured here 2nd from the left...Jim was also the manager of the very successful Elswick Hopper team.
