Nigel Wilson 1st place, Winning his hometown city centre cycle race, August 18th 1985. 

Sponsor Eric Gilbert (white suit) has just awarded the prizes; standing on Pinstone street with the podium's other recipients Simon Keeton and Charles Moody, 2nd & 3rd respectively.. 

Note: Nigel won this race on a Sheffield, hand built J.F.Wilson 531 racing bike, and was watched by a good crowd one of which was the cycle frame builder James Fredrick Wilson himself.
